The Lueneburg Heath is a bit of a paradise for hikers who want to experience Northern Germany’s varied landscapes.
Proof of this is the recognition of the 223 km long “Heidschnuckenweg” as “Germany’s most beautiful hiking trail” in 2014. Among many other routes, this long-distance hiking trail passes by the front door of our hotel.

The Tütsberg is an insider tip for riders. You can accommodate your own four-legged friend in the hotel’s own horse stable with 20 boxes.
A dense network of bridle paths leads from the farm to the Lueneburg Heath nature reserve. We will be happy to provide you with maps for your rides.
Costs for the boarding of your horse
23 € price per box per night
(including bedding with straw, oats and pellets, use of pasture and paddock, final cleaning)

(including bedding with shavings, oats and pellets, use of pasture and paddock, final cleaning)
Of course, you are welcome to use us as a stopover on your trail ride. During your break, we provide tethering places in sight for your horse.

Dogs are very welcome at our hotel!
Due to our unique, largely untouched nature, dogs are required to be kept on a leash in the entire Lueneburg Heath nature reserve as well as on our farm.
But in return, many beautiful hiking trails and endless possibilities for short or extensive walks await you. Perfect for a relaxing vacation together with your dog!

We will be pleased to organize bicycles for you. You can also rent e-bikes in the area – we have an overview of rental companies ready for you at our reception.
